Who May Qualify for SSS?

You may be eligible to apply for Special Supervision Services if:

5-Year Revocation

• At least 12 months have passed since your revocation date.
• You have not driven during the previous 12 months.
• You have not used alcohol or illegal drugs during the previous 12 months.

10-Year Revocation

• At least 24 months have passed since your revocation date.
• You have not driven during the previous 12 months.
• You have not used alcohol or illegal drugs during the previous 12 months.

Permanent Revocation

• At least 5 years have passed from the date of conviction or release from incarceration, whichever occurred later.
• You have not driven during the previous 5 years.
• You have not used alcohol or illegal drugs during the previous 5 years.

Please note that misuse of prescription medications or over-the-counter drugs may also affect eligibility.

Program Requirements

To participate in Special Supervision Services, applicants must:

• Successfully complete a Level II DUI Program.
• Successfully complete any required treatment recommendations.
• Meet all FLHSMV eligibility requirements.
• Participate in ongoing monitoring through the DUI Program.

Continued participation in SSS requires that the hardship driver’s license remains in good standing with FLHSMV.
