Become a TCHS Board Member
Dear prospective board member:
Tri-County Human Services is a private not-for-profit corporation, locally owned and operated; serving the community needs of Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties.
We specialize in serving all citizens in the area of behavioral health including substance use and mental health disorders. We also offer counseling, treatment, and resource availability to individual’s ages eleven (11) (for addiction treatment) and ages six (6) (for mental health treatment) through adult.
Our services are found in, but not limited to, outreach programs in county schools, DUI programs, residential/rehabilitative and outpatient treatment throughout the tri-county area, and award-winning programs in our local correctional facilities. We work with agencies like the Department of Children and Families, Central Florida Healthcare, Family Fundamentals, the United Way, Heartland for Children, and the Department of Corrections, as well as others to seek out people in need, serve their needs, and provide appropriate aftercare for a positive quality of life in their everyday living activities. We also link services to primary care physicians and other health care providers in a seamless transition to allow treatment of the “whole person.”
As Tri-County continues to become a growing positive influence within the community, we are seeking individuals to help guide our programs into the future. Seeking input from leaders in the community, such as yourself, we develop new and exciting programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our community.
