In 2013, she was nominated and chosen as Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association’s Clinician of the Year for the Central Region. Nelda graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She then graduated from Webster University with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Nelda is currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and she also is a Master’s Level Certified Addictions Professional. She is also a Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming, as well as trained in EMDR and ART.
Ms. Jackson has spent over 40 years devoting herself to understanding addiction and mental health issues.
